100% of recent graduates are currently enrolled in college. 80% are enrolled in a 4 year college, while 20% are enrolled in community college with many continuing their education at a 4 year college or university. 1% are undecided. Students enrolled in the LD program at EC are included in all calculations relating to graduation statistics.
Through academic preparation, individual direction, and faculty recommendations, our graduates move into the future with the confidence to succeed. The 2009 graduates were offered more than $5,629,000 in grants and scholarships from the academic institutions they applied to last year.

Academic Excellence Elyria Catholic High School places great emphasis on academic excellence. As a recipient of the Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award, along with accreditation by the North Central Association, we continually strive to raise our standards of excellence. In order to recognize students who excel academically, several honors (based on a 4.0 GPA system) have been established.

Academic excellence is also recognized via Academic Letters, a Student of the Month program, membership in the National Honor Society, an annual Academic Dinner, and the presentation of Academic Gold Cords and the Valedictorian / Salutatorian at commencement.
At Elyria Catholic High School, we recognize the value of small class sizes and the importance of the teacher / student relationship. We offer a 14 to 1 student / teacher ratio and an average of 24 students per classroom. This gives our faculty the ability to provide students the individual attention they deserve.
The faculty and administrative staff at Elyria Catholic High School consist of more than 50 men and women dedicated to Catholic education. Their strong belief in professionalism is evident as all of the faculty members hold a Bachelor degree and 50% have a Master degree. The faculty at Elyria Catholic High School has an average of 12 years teaching experience. They have dedicated their lives to preparing tomorrow's leaders with the knowledge, moral character, and faith in God that is essential to lifelong success.
The comprehensive curriculum at Elyria Catholic High School includes both AP and Honors courses, as well as a Learning Disabilities Program that focuses on preparing students for college. We also offer students the option of earning college credit while in high school through participation in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program.
