    EC student meets an Olympian
    On Sunday, November 20th, 2015, Junior Jared Fote was able to meet Butch Reynolds at Donna's Diner, as part of the Apple Festival and an outreach by the Elyria Sports Hall of Fame.  Mr. Reynolds is an Ohio State graduate who won a medal in the 1988 Olympics for the 400 meter dash.  He now has a foundation working with and for youth. 
    Rep. Jim Jordan visits Elyria Catholic

    Rep. Jim Jordan(R-OH 4th District) visited Elyria Catholic on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015.  The purpose of the visit was to hand deliver a ticket to Andrew Krakowiak, Executive in Residence, to attend Pope Francis' address to Congress when he arrives in Washington, D.C. later this month.  Students had the opportunity to ask Rep. Jordan questions, during their government class with Mr. Clark.

    Parents' Annual Fund 

    Thank you to all of the parents who have returned the Parent Appeal Pledge Card. If you have not yet returned your card, please send it in by the end of the week. Parent appeal representatives will begin making follow up phone calls next week. New this year!  Any family who makes a donation of $250 or more to the parent fund will be given (2) tickets to the annual spring gala in April. Download a copy of the pledge card here!
